Ghost Recon: Wildlands - 10 Things We Learned From The Beta

5. Playing Co-Op Is The Only Way To Go

A given, considering the current disreputable state of Wildlands' AI, but still, the game undoubtedly benefits via the addition of real-life camaraderie. With the suffix that you all get along, of course.

I managed to link up with two or three players on the Wildlands beta who really knew their stuff, and the game opened up in a whole knew way. Communication and cooperation became the name of the game, and suddenly objectives became engaging and interesting, amok with dozens of possibilities for hostage rescues, nighttime raids, and full-frontal assaults. To me, this is where Wildlands truly excels. Indeed, I'd go as far as to say that you are not going to have a good time with this title by yourself. It's playable, certainly, but it's obvious that it was made for more than two to join.

The open beta should be dropping soon, so be sure to invite a few of your friends around to try it out; especially if it's been a while since you last flexed your cooperative muscles.
