5. Gaping Plot Holes Born From Naivety

The Ghosts stepping in because agent Ricky Sandoval was murdered is the biggest, but definitely not the sole instance of naivety exhibited by the game's creators.

El Cardenal is responsible for the religious propaganda of Santa Blanca, but he decides to cut ties with the organization once he learns El Sueno is involved in child trafficking.

His helper, La Santera, creates a ranking system for the sicarios: smuggling 200 kilos the Santa Muerte will protect them from bullets, while for killing 10 men they will go to heaven. The problem? Santa Muerte is not approved by the Catholic Church, so El Cardenal would be condemned for even being associated with the deity, nor able to organize nationwide masses with all the prominent politicians - a task he is presented with by El Sueno at a point in the story.

When it comes to El Yayo, his grandson El Emisario is so in awe of the older man that he'll do anything to not disappoint him. However, when he does so, he is so shaken that he hangs himself.

Later, when El Yayo is captured, he decides to cooperate for the sake of his family, with no mention of the dead boy...
