God Of War 2017 Wishlist: 10 Things We Want To See

4. Yggdrasil

Just as Kratos murdered his way through the various realms of Greek myth, so he is poised to do the same to the world of the Norse gods. The various realms of Norse myth were connected by a handy framing/fast travel device, the world-tree Yggdrasil.

This immense ash tree connects the nine realms, including Midgard (the 'real') world, Asgard where the gods hang out, Jotunheim (land of giants) and Hel (pretty much what it sounds like).

Storming the worlds of the gods would mean accessing them via Yggdrasil, so expect Kratos to get to grips with the world-tree. Yggdrasil is a fertile location in itself, with a dragon curled around its roots, various creatures feeding on it and a huge eagle roosting at the top.

As a recognisable and rather peculiar place, and a potential 'hub world' for the various realms of Norse cosmology, Yggdrasil is way too cool for Kratos to leave alone.
