2. One Of The Best Looking Games Ever

"Best looking graphics" are obviously inherently subjective, but on a purely technical, purely graphical quality level - if we're talking rendering objects, showing facial expressions and realising a world onscreen in 3D - God of War is a bonafide showstopper.

Think Thor Ragnarok's most stylish moments, mixed with Horizon Zero Dawn's colour palette. Primary colours are everywhere: luscious blue oceans, red forests - entire realms of forestation and shrubbery.

Even the way this game does snow is award-winning in itself.

From the thousand stories coded into the creases on Kratos' hands, to the whipping winds of a Jotunheim mountaintop, God of War is easily one of the best looking games of the generation, and of all time.
