God Of War - Ranking Every Game From Worst To Best

The first PSP title in the series marked a fantastic achievement for the console and was actually pretty great. However, it still doesn't beat the original games and was outmatched in some manner by its sequel.

That doesn't remove the fact that Chains of Olympus is one of the biggest technical achievements the series has ever seen. To be able to fit a whole God of War adventure onto the diminutive PSP is some feat, especially when you consider how fantastic it looks.

Even with the improvements that Ghost of Sparta introduced, Chains of Olympus outclasses it, simply because of how amazing it was that all of this was working so well. Gameplay matched the rest of the series almost perfectly, and besides a lower framerate, you'd be hard-pressed to tell the difference.

Chains of Olympus also delivers one of the most interesting narratives of the story, introducing the importance of Kratos' brother Helios to the series, and delving more into his service to Ares.

Ready at Dawn's little masterwork really showed everyone why they had fell in love with the series in the first place, except now they could take it anywhere.
