Gotham Knights: 7 Major Changes From The Arkham Series

Six years, six long years of wild speculation and theories have finally been justified by the appearance of the Court of Owls.

While the game is no longer set within the same continuity it feels amazing to finally see the Court in action complete with a creepy child singing their infamous lullaby.

The Court is a major threat that first appeared in the New 52 line of comics and consists of Gotham's richest and most powerful families. Working in the shadows, they send out their deadly assassins, known as Talons, to execute anyone they see as a threat to their vision for Gotham.

Joining these costumed illuminate fanatics is Mr. Freeze who can be seen as a boss battle during the final moments of the gameplay demo. Two-Face has also been teased during the r3dakt3d campaig,n but whether these villains will be working together is a mystery.

It is worth mentioning that the inclusion of a resurrected Jason Todd could indicate some level of involvement of the League of Assassin's. The League made several attempts to seize control of the city during Batman's absence in the comics, and their insignia was spotted in previous teasers for Gotham Knights.

Delving even further down the rabbit hole, if the League is involved, we may get an appearance from Damian Wayne in an attempt to replace the Batman.
