https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NvW8tDvTIc Start as you mean to go on with this sort of list, GTA III's Catalina made a re-appearance in San Andreas as hero CJ's overly-angry lover (of sorts), however it was the mid-game stint out in the middle of nowhere that gave birth to a string of awful robbery missions, ending in this overly long checkpoint race across a huge expanse of land littered with things that'll instantly flip you over. Any GTA player knows the pain of having your car spin out in any mission, but when it's five straight minutes of trying to get across the country knowing the in-game physics are one pebble away from launching you down a ravine and into a restart screen - this was just overkill.
