2. A Major Prison Story
The majority of the rumours included in this list stem from an article courtesy of Games Radar; if their article is to be believed, a major story throughout GTA 6 will be focused inside a prison.
Considering the entire premise of Grand Theft Auto is based around crime, you'd think this would be something that Rockstar would have already based a key story around within one of the franchise's entries. Sure, we had GTA 5's incredibly fun Prison Break heist, however, it simply wasn't enough to fill your appetite.
According to the aforementioned article, GTA 6 will feature a "giant prison", where your character will be held for a lengthy period of time. How long this will last is unknown at the time of writing, as is how this story will exactly play out. Just hearing those words is enough, though - this is something that should have been done a long, long time ago.
Think about it; this is something that has been at the forefront of GTA fans' bucket lists for years. So long as it's pulled off to the best of Rockstar's ability, fans should be left pleased with the end result.
