Building your own empire from the ground up sounds like quite the task, but there's no denying it would make the game worth coming back to time and time again.
Rumours circulating the Interwebs state that one of the biggest aspects surrounding GTA 6 will see the player tasked with creating their own criminal empire. The latter years of GTA Online sort of saw this mechanic begin to form, seeing as players were able to run their own businesses, from nightclubs to property ownership. While they take some time to build up if you want to seriously invest time and effort, they're undoubtedly worth it in the end.
Should this rumour prove to be true, Rockstar need to ensure all the kinks are fine-tuned so that players won't immediately sour away to the thought of creating their own criminal empire.
This mechanic has been likened to that featured in Vice City Stories, Fallout 4, and even The Sims - fans, quite rightly so, have high expectations for this when the game drops. On paper, it sounds like quite the selling point for the next GTA instalment.
