GTA Trilogy Remake - Every Gameplay Detail You Need To Know
3. A Nintendo Switch Version Is Happening
As well as being available on all the usual platforms, the original trilogy's Definitive Edition will also release for Nintendo Switch players, making it just the fifth GTA to be released on a Nintendo platform.
Previous years have seen the Game Boy Color receive both the first and second GTA games, simply titled Grand Theft Auto and Grand Theft Auto II, while its successor, the Game Boy Advance featured 2004's GTA Advance, and the DS saw Chinatown Wars playable.
Time will tell how the game looks on the Switch, given the twelve-year gap between Nintendo releases, but all going well, it could feasibly mark the beginning of a wondrous relationship between Rockstar and the Japanese gaming giant.
It's worth noting that Nintendo Switch versions of the game will also feature touchscreen features, as well as Gyro aiming. Though we've not seen this in action quite yet, it's a key moment in the development of Rockstar's games.
Never before has it included a gameplay feature like this, so ideally, it'll become a staple of their future release, both within and outwith the GTA franchise.
