GTA V: 10 Action Movies It Needs To Steal From

9. Oldboy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-OzB-mop6AA Who can forget the classic hallway scene in Oldboy, in which the extremely hacked off protagonist - and that's putting it lightly - pulls out a hammer, and goes to town on an impossibly large fleet of bad guys for a few minutes? There's one thing standing in the way of this making for an awesome GTA set piece, however; the combat mechanics of finer weapons are not that great in the series so far, especially when you're fighting as many enemies as Chan-wook Park's film throws into the mix. Though GTA IV's cover system helped tighten up gun-based play, aiming and moving about still proves a little problematic for any other type of action. Still, if Rockstar can tune up the hand-to-hand and melee combat, this could make for an amazing brutal, crazily intense mission; it's perfectly cartoonish in the GTA vein, and also darkly comic in all of its "one man against the odds" absurdity.
