4. Social

More so than GTA IV - which focused mainly on murder and mayhem - GTA V's online seems keen to make of itself a social experience, in which players don't just kill and rob, but also hang out and simply enjoy one another's company in a virtual space. The trailer briefly shows off, as pictured above, a character walking through their apartment with a number of friends in the room with them. Though it's a total frivolity and might largely be used as a meeting point before a mission, it's a pretty nifty feature, and should make the game feel more involving (plus, who won't want to get rich and show off how much better their house is than everyone else's?). One can imagine that on Xbox Live's party chat system, this mode could be an absolute riot, chewing the fat over microphones while figuring out what to do in this vast, expansive world. The sky really is the limit.
