6. Hijack A Hostage
This is the first real mission where you are given freedom to swap between characters at a whim on a cooperative mission. It also showcases the strengths of each protagonist (Trevor is an ace pilot, Franklin is your driver or sniper, and Michael is Max Payne, err€ your gunman). The mission itself too is superbly designed as you fly Michael over to a building with Trevor, and have Michael rappel down that skyscraper until reaching the appropriate window and bashing it in shooting people while dangling on a rope. From here you can switch between Franklin (sniping across from another building) and Michael for various changing vantage points. Michael than grabs the target and is lifted back up to Trevor for a smooth escape. The mission was a prime candidate for not only explaining these daunting mechanics, but also proving an unforgettable backdrop full of chaos heightening the intensity.
