3. Graphics
Now of course it goes without saying that GTA V represents a substantial shift in graphics from those of its predecessor - it is a sequel produced four years later after all - but, from what I'm seeing, from the screenshots and of course the original trailer, the jump in standard is nothing short of astonishing. So astonishing in fact that a little while ago there were rumours circulating that GTA V was in fact intended to be a next-gen release, given the fact that the consoles are due to be revealed at next year's E3 conference. Now, you've always got remember that video game screenshots are always heavily doctored; what you see represents the game running on an absolutely top-of-the-range bleeding edge desktop and not necessarily what Xbox and PS3 players will see upon release. However even with that being said, GTA V still looks to be an absolute graphical marvel by its own standards and if I might be so bold to suggest it, I'd wager it'll be remembered as one of the finest looking video games on the current generation and most certainly the finest looking sandbox shooter ever released to date.
