3. Gang Wars & Territory Battles

One of our favourite features in 2004's GTA San Andreas was the gang element and especially the territory battles. Fans of the game will recall the "gang wars" feature whereby you could take over certain sections of the map by killing rival gangsters, while the player also had to defend their territory from attack at random intervals. And we think this could be implemented into GTA online. One of the game's three protagonists, Franklin, is a gangster and going from recently-released images is apparently a member of the Grove St gang. It would make sense then for this theme to bleed into the online world, in a similar way to the "Turf War" mode found in GTA IV. "Turf War" was a "capture-the-base" mode that saw gamers attempt to take over areas represented by coloured halos scattered across the map. And considering the sheer scale of GTA V - it's bigger than the previous two games from the main cannon plus Red Dead Redemption
combined - this could make for endless fun that will have us playing for hours.
