4. Hammer
The hammer was available to purchase from all hardeware shops in Vice City for $20. Any foe hit by a hammer would instantly fall to the ground and get back up again, unless you continued to hit them whilst they were prone of the floor. They could also be stolen from builders in construction yards after they had been killed. It was rumoured at the time of GTA IV's release that developers were going to include it in the series after its absence from San Andreas, and whilst builders and construction workers could be seen holding hammers in GTA IV, it was not available as a melee weapon.
