GTA V: 5 Ways It Could Fail

2. Multiplayer

GTA IV had a fun but flawed online mode, and you've probably already read my ideas and wish list for GTA V's multiplayer. That game suffered crippling lag and online matchmaking issues, and getting kicked from lobbies back to the single player was just too frustrating. A problem in Max Payne 3's multiplayer, and a lot of third person shooters out there, comes when the developer try to throw too much depth in. Sadly, having mountains of customisation is pointless and overwhelming, and while having full player model customisation in GTA V would rock, we don't need perks and classes and similar flourishes. How to fix it? First, deal with the netcode. No more random cars spawing into air and matches suddenly disconnecting. Do not add more depth than necessary, and try to make it easy to understand. Adding a lobby, as seen in like every multiplayer game ever, would help to deal with the single player booting issue. And I would love to see the game kick out players who try to kick others by constantly spamming the button. Just get rid of the both of them, and be done with it.

I live in Australia, love to write and play games. So what better than writing about games? I love all things action and fantasy, as well as my occasional shooter. I literally cannot wait for GTAV!
