4. San Andreas Is Now An Island

The more complex map of GTA V makes it exceedingly clear that, this time, San Andreas is in fact an island. Whereas the map for the original San Andreas was very closed-off and didn't give us much of a glimpse outside of itself, here we can clearly see that it has been reconfigured as an island, likely in an effort to better hide the limitations of the game, and not have players just running into an invisible wall or something. Is it strange? Sure. Does it in no way reflect the geography of
actual Los Angeles? Damn right. But why should you care? It's more an interesting artistic decision than anything; some online have already picked apart the fact that a desert should not be able to exist so close to a large body of water, but I think those people are kinda missing the point...
