GTA V Online: 8 Fan Demands That Must Happen In 2018
5. Stop With The Inflation
In the same vein as the big updates like heists and businesses being locked behind paywalls surpassing millions of dollars, even the smaller in-game purchases have skyrocketed in the years since the title first released.
Where clothes used to be pretty cheap to pick up, with the most expensive items being a couple thousand dollars, now even a jacket can set you back almost ten grand. It's the same with vehicles and, to a lesser extent, weapons too. The base game's sports cars used to be affordable, but now vehicles that perform worse than them are double the price.
It's a strange system to have, and the cost of in-game items just keeps rising more and more. It's easy to say the increased price is a cheeky way at mimicking inflation, but let's be real: it's just another way of making you burn through money faster so you have to resort to picking up a shark card.
