GTA V Online: 8 Fan Demands That Must Happen In 2018

1. Announce An Endgame

Over the years, the big wigs at Take Two have gone back and forth on whether or not they are planning to shut down GTA V Online in anticipation of a sequel.

In 2016 the publisher stated that it was important for the multiplayer to "not be permanent" in order to create a demand for Grand Theft Auto VI. However, more recent comments have seemingly backtracked on that statement, explaining that they're going to "extend the life" of Online well into the future.

At this point though, a true endgame needs to be announced. Players don't want the rug to be pulled out from under them, and with Red Dead Redemption 2 releasing this year, no doubt with an equally expansive Online mode, Rockstar need to let players know what's coming, and what it's all leading to, if they want to keep them engaged.

As much as Take Two would love it, the lifespan of GTA Online isn't infinite, and sooner or later they're going to have to gear up for the next evolution of the series - and grand finale to Online would be the best way to bow out.
