GTA V Remastered: 11 Things You Probably Didn't Know
10. More Wildlife And Weapons - Plus Cats
One thing carried over from the phenomenal Red Dead Redemption was the inclusion of hunting mechanics, and although we didn't get access to them until quite far into the game, they were a fun distraction that actually contributed one of the best end-mission reveals in the entire game thanks to a certain person masquerading as Bigfoot. As you can see Rockstar are revamping every aspect of the game world, and leading with shots like these show everything from the animals to the very sway of the fauna around them is receiving one hell of a shiny upgrade. So much so that in addition to the deer and mountain lions of the world, there'll be a plethora of additional animals for you to track, sneak up on... and most likely scare away, as some are definitely very flighty critters. In addition to the wildlife aspect there's also going to be a heap of new weapons available at Ammunation for use throughout the various main missions and side-activities. So far it's unknown whether these are just carryovers from the DLC packs or creations specifically for the new hardware, but either way we'll take more excuses to see those immaculately-crafted explosions any day. Finally to the celebration of the internet there's going to be cats, which aside from being featured in a few art assets across the game's walls and buildings, are finally going to be wandering around San Andreas amongst the carnage. We can only guess at the insanity people are going to get up to when you combine things like 'Fighter jet' with 'grenade launcher' and 'cat' to... actually, probably best not to.
