1. Trevor
Trevor Phillips is by a country mile the most bonkers, crazy, unhinged character we have ever seen in a Grand Theft Auto game, and that's saying a LOT. The trailer-trash hillbilly is the best character in the game and as such, he isn't unlocked until about 10% in, during the mission "Mr Phillips". Almost as soon as we take control of Trevor, we're standing knee-deep in corpses as we have to destroy the "Lost" motorcycle gang who have been terrorizing Blaine County. We're also treated to a heavy succession of one-liners. Almost every word that falls out of Trevor's mouth is a total zinger and you have to take your hat off to the writers for giving him such hilarious dialogue. With unlocking Trevor as a playable character also comes the addition of Blaine County, which we hadn't seen up until this point. Home to Mt. Chiliad, Blaine County is a sprawling desert region home to a variety of animals and quad-bike driving yokels, and is by far our favourite part of the map. Once all three characters have been unlocked, the real fun begins, and though we are still yet to find out how things unfold in these embryonic stages, we can't wait to delve even further into this magnificent game.
