5. Lazlow Jones
Before GTA V, Lazlow Jones was little more than a familiar voice fans of Grand Theft Auto were used to hearing. His first appearance was in GTA III, but he has pretty much appeared in every GTA title since then in some form or fashion. Most often, Lazlow is a radio host who has become increasingly obnoxious over the years. Things came to a head in GTA V. For the first time, Lazlow was shown in physical form for an extended period. During the game, the player regularly torments the DJ, who plays a similar, cowardly character to the likes of Ken Rosenberg. Incredibly, Lazlow Jones is a real-life person, one also involved in the creative direction and writing process for Grand Theft Auto games. He obviously gets a kick out of mocking himself in-game. It'd be awesome to see Lazlow back in GTA VI. The infamous radio content the games are well-known for just wouldn't be the same without his trademark voice. He wouldn't need to necessarily appear as an actual physical character again, but the title would miss his witty delivery and sarky tone as players drive from location to location in-game.
