Perhaps due to criticisms over the serious tone of GTA IV, Rockstar offered the expansion packs, 'The Lost And Damned' and 'The Ballad Of Gay Tony' to fans. During the latter particularly, there was much more of an emphasis on light-hearted hijinks and fun, rather than trying to weave a striking, emotional tale. Thankfully, Yusuf Amir was ideal for that kind of thing. In similar fashion to Brucie Kibbutz, Amir is hyperactive and always full of beans. Unlike Kibbutz, he doesn't have that lurking threat of being a ticking time bomb. Instead, he hilariously uses American street phrases at the wrong moments, and provides a lot of entertainment in the process. To date, The Ballad Of Gay Tony is his only real appearance, although he has been mentioned in other titles. It's a shame to create such a spontaneous and fun character, only to never use it again. That's something Rockstar should be mindful of when it comes to GTA VI. Yusuf Amir would be perfect if the development house plan on making VI a non-serious game. Fans really want to see more from the crazy dude, and have the chance to fly a golden helicopter again.
