GTA VI: 10 Reasons It Must Return To Vice City

1. You Could Play An 80s-Style Corrupt Cop

American cops in contemporary pop culture aren't that much fun. They're all so grim and serious, and frankly not much to have around in a Rockstar game. But the 80s pretty much invented all the great cop stereotypes that we enjoy parodying so much today. The GTA series is long overdue to feature a character who isn't a pure criminal or a complete psychopath, and a crooked, dinstinctly 80s-style, cop would fit the bill perfectly. A storyline featuring such a character could involve plenty of team detective work (possibly taking a not-too-big chip off the old L.A. Noire block?), drug-deal-busting (while trying to take a bit for yourself without getting caught), and of course a police chief who incessantly reminds you that there's no room for mavericks on the Force. Such a plotline would fit perfectly into the gorgeous, sun-kissed setting of a revamped Vice City. Early rumours are suggesting that Ryan Gosling could be a protagonist in the next GTA game, but that makes me pray that there will be more than one character to play as. That would leave someone else to voice the crooked cop while Gosling can do what he does best and stick with being a mute protagonist (a la GTA 3). Would you like to see GTA VI take things back to Vice City? What would you like to see included? Let us know in the comments!
