End Game
And now it's time to count up the corpses and see who comes out on top....of the corpses. Third Place: APB- 10 Dead Civilians APB offers a game that fits a very specific niche, online sociopathic criminals. You would think it would be a larger group of people, but the recent move to free-2-play would prove otherwise. While it provides some extremely fun experiences, it just doesn't have the well thought out and sustainable basic gameplay that makes GTA and Saint's Row so replayable. Sure, it's fun for a time, but that time is quite short. Second Place: GTA: 11 Dead Civilians Though no one in their right mind would argue that GTA isn't entertaining, their drive towards more linear story mode has resulted in the loss of a lot of the childish fun that once made it great. That's not to say that you can't still go nuts on a police station with an assault rifle, it just won't make that same satisfying noise that it used to. And The Winner Is...........Saint's Row: 12 Dead Civilians There you have it, the king of the crappiest, most violent, anarchistic kingdom in videogames. Even though it could be argued that the competition looked better or was executed better, the argument comes down to one simple truth: Saint's Row still lets the player set the rules in the sandbox. The other games had better sand, and better castles, but Saint's Row's sandbox was whatever you wanted to make it, and in the end, that's the reason we play sandbox games. If you have made it this far in the article, the police are most likely in or approaching your home. Your neighbor is a bit of a narc for having called the cops on you. Though you might regret it, I'm quite glad you hit him in the crotch. I'm really quite proud of you. As the police enter your home and begin to pepper spray you for no reason, remember that your actions were not the fault of me, this website, or any videogames you might have played. Don't forget to mention that last part. Just because you won't be able to play GTA from you cell doesn't mean you should rob the rest of us of the experience.
