6. The Main Goal Is To Stop A Serial Killer
The plot of Hidden Agenda revolves around the efforts of law enforcement to bring down a serial killer simply known as "The Trapper." The serial killer has a unique M.O., laying traps on all of his victims in order to kill first responders. The main characters are tasked with finding all of the victims and preventing any more deaths from occurring.
There are currently only two playable characters announced. One is District Attorney Felicity Graves, with gameplay based more around dialogue than action. Footage of Graves is mostly in an interrogation room, talking to a man that appears to be The Trapper.
The other playable character is Detective Becky Marnie, played by Arrow's Katie Cassidy. Marnie's gameplay looks to be a lot more action oriented, being shown pointing a gun at an unknown assailant and being forced to choose between saving her partner or a hostage. Hopefully, Cassidy can bring the same degree of strength and likability to Hidden Agenda that Hayden Panettiere brought to Until Dawn
Murder mysteries haven't always translated to a video game medium very well, with both Murdered: Soul Suspect and L.A. Noire failing to live up to expectations.
