Injustice 2: 7 Crucial Pro Tips The Game Doesn't Tell You
4. Mastering Input & Lag Delay
Alongside the basics, you've got special attacks or 'command inputs', as the pros like to call them (when they think there's a chance another pro could be listening). Command inputs refer to the fancy moves fighting game characters have outside of basic directional attacks.
Now, you probably already know how to pull off a special, but you might get the distinct feeling that they're harder to do in an online match. Even if you tapped directly into Elon Musk's private servers, you'd still experience some lag, which would naturally make combos harder to nail down.
However, Injustice 2 actually has a way around this. In the Settings when in training mode, you can actually have the game intentionally simulate online input lag.
As a result, even though learning combos and pulling off specials might seem harder, you'll be far more likely to pull off that insane 30 hit combo in ranked instead of dropping it because you pressed the inputs too quickly.
