So Jedi: Fallen Order has been received quite well hasn't it?

The latest outing for Respawn and EA in the Star Wars universe puts players into the shoes of Cal Kestis and paints a beautiful world in between the action of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.

The game has done down well amongst fans and critics alike, which is no doubt surprising to anybody who has followed the story of EA and the Star Wars license.

Since EA acquired the rights to a galaxy far, far away in 2013, it has been a veritable Sarlacc pit of controversy.

Cancelled projects, closed studios, and everything to do with microtransactions have all put a black mark against EA's time with Star Wars. Even Fallen Order hasn't escaped criticism, with some players complaining about glitches and other technical issues.

However, on the whole, EA seem to have turned a corner with Fallen Order. Even the angriest of gamers can be won back with a few good titles, so it's vital that the company keeps up this momentum with their next release.

The following ten suggestions are either original ideas or remakes of existing games that, given the right treatment, could be the next smash hit in the George Lucas universe.

10. A New X-Wing Game

The X-Wing series of games for the PC set the standard for space dogfights.

Named after the famous spaceship class, the games offered players a chance to follow in the footsteps of galactic pilot icons like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and everyone's collective boy, Wedge Antilles.

The original X-Wing game spawned three sequels that allowed players to fly a variety of other iconic spacecraft, including TIE Fighters and even the Millennium Falcon.

The second game in the series was named the best game of all time by PC Gamer and Next Generation magazine called the series "second to none in the genre." However, there hasn't been a new X-Wing game in twenty years and perhaps it's time that changed.

An overhaul to the graphics and a port to the next generation of consoles could make an X-Wing game the perfect launch title for the new PlayStation or Xbox.

The nostalgia of the old games would bring back existing fans and the allure of piloting brand new ships from the Star Wars universe could bring in an entirely new generation of players.
