Jurassic Park: 5 Best Video Games (And 5 That Sucked)

2. The Lost World: Jurassic Park (Sega Megadrive, 1997)

In a risky manoeuvre Sega went all top down with their The Lost World tie-in, a ploy that failed miserably for Nintendo four years earlier. The risk paid off, though, because even to this day, this remains a highly enjoyable adventure.

In what has since become a familiar trait for the game series, players take control of a chap marooned on Isla Sorna looking for a ride home. There's nineteen levels to traverse, littered with key cards and dinosaurs to collect in order to progress.

Gameplay-wise, think Zombies Ate My Neighbours and you wouldn't be far off. There's also plenty of human and dino baddies to take down and, upping the fun factor just that bit more, there's a co-operative mode in place to make those big boss battles a bit easier.

Completed by lovely visuals and a sense of freedom, this is the best Lost World game of all time, without hesitation.
