5. Sora's Fate
The biggest surprise to come out of Kingdom Hearts 3 happens right at the end of the game, with Sora disappearing right before our eyes.
To be fair, it was hinted at throughout the game with characters like Yen Sid, Young Xehanort and Mickey all warning that Sora could be too reckless with the power.
It seems like Sora's use of the power of waking nearly nine times in a row ended with him losing his way and seemingly dying.
However, considering that Sora cheated death earlier in the game, it seemed unlikely that he'd actually be dead and this does seem to be the case.
Both the secret ending and epilogue to the game tease that Sora isn't dead but lost in another world. Even then there are still a lot of theories regarding what has actually happened to him and where he's ended up.
Sora is Kingdom Hearts, so the franchise shouldn't really go on without him.
