3. There Is A Teaser Trailer For Kingdom Hearts 4
The first Kingdom Hearts secret ending teased Kingdom Hearts 2, and the next secret ending teased Birth By Sleep, directly influencing the Dark Seeker Saga going into the third game. The third game's secret ending and epilogue can be assumed to be some form of trailer for Kingdom Hearts 4 then.
In this epilogue, four of the five Keyblade Masters/the Foretellers are speaking with Xigbar. He is revealed to be Luxu, the sixth Keyblade master from Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover, the feature-length movie released with Kingdom Hearts 2.8.
Luxu’s mission is to take the Master of Master’s gazing eye through the world, all while transporting the mysterious black box that Maleficent and Pete are hunting for during the third game. This must be setting-up the next chapters in the story, seemingly confirmed in Eraqus’ and Xehanort’s newly started chess game, with the Foreteller’s symbols clearly on display on game pieces.
In the secret ending, Sora and Riku have been transported to what looks like Verum Rex (the Toy Story mini-game) and Shibuya from The World Ends With You. We see a hooded figure looking up to the moon while the words ‘Reconnect Kingdom Hearts’ flash on screen.
