TT Games

Right now, it’s probably right to consider LEGO and TT as the Pixar of video game developers: thus far, they’ve failed to release a single dud, and their games are only marked by differences in brilliance.

There have been some issues in the past, but none have really been fatal (despite the number of people who still complain about the characters speaking rather than simply grunting). But that doesn’t mean there’s not space to improve.

The latest chapter in this franchise improves thanks to the tangible level of gloss that has been added. Afforded the luxury of time, the developers have added more jokes, more background detail, more furnishing lore and have developed all the simple interactions. It’s the glossiest game yet released under the TT banner (and I was playing an early build, remember): which is some going.
