LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Early Reactions To Our Hands On Time

4. It Has Learned From Jurassic World

Jurassic World - the last game developed by the same studio as The Force Awakens (there are actually two LEGO studios and a healthy rivalry) - was a great game (obviously), but it had its moments of frustration.

Too many of the levels were sparsely populated with enemies and actions, and there weren’t quite as many puzzles as I would have liked. But The Force Awakens has taken that foundation and added all of the “missing” pieces back in. It feels like there’s a lot more to do (perhaps because there was more time to work on it?), and the puzzles have more to them.

All-in-all, it feels like a progression - not just from previous Star Wars games, but also from the other LEGO games (the most recent of which have set the bar exceptionally high already).
