The reigning Super Bowl champs New England Patriots are one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL, but despite their glory last season, they shouldn't warrant a 91 rating for the new Madden. Darrelle Revis, Brandon Browner, Vince Wilfork, Shane Vereen, and Stevan Ridley have all departed during the off-season. Many of their fringe players will take a leap upwards, but those are some big name departures which should surely cause their rating to balance out rather than rise so highly. The Patriots will still command the AFC East and they'll more than likely make it deep into January (even without Brady for the first few games of the season) but based on individual players, their rating jumped based on the hype of winning, not because it was justified. If Russell Wilson had passed the ball off to Marshawn Lynch in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl 49, would the Patriots' roster be rated as highly as the Seahawks?
