Are the Broncos really an 89-rated team or are they just coasting on a big reputation and a declining master? Peyton Manning is not the QB he once was. He'll still dominate the regular season, but in straight, big-game shootouts he's been outgunned by his Colts successor Andrew Luck and it looks doubtful that the old master will add another Super Bowl ring to his trophy cabinet. His 98 rating has taken a slide on Madden 16 down to 92, and he's lost a big target in Julius Thomas (89 on Madden 16). The Broncos are still an impressive franchise, but 89 is a lofty number for a team who may not make a huge impact on the playoff picture again this season.
