A new game mode is always a welcome addition to a new Madden game and Draft Champions feels like an excellent new way to enjoy the game. You start by selecting a coach according to your style, then flicking through rounds of players to create your temporary team. Do you stock up the receiving weapons or reinforce the defensive line? These decisions will be commonplace. It all combines to create a great Fantasy experience, though the difference is that you can obviously use these players in your very own team. It's reasonably quick to figure out and get playing, with the mode lasting the length of a knockout tournament. Some great times could be had delving into Draft Champions.
