5. Rogue
Every 90's boys crush and staple of the cosplay community, X-Men's Rogue is a much beloved character that has often sparkled in any fighting game appearance she's had.
She's perhaps best known for her appearance in Marvel vs Capcom 2, where despite her popularity she was considered to be mid-tier. Whilst she couldn't hold a candle to the likes of Cable or certain other heavy-hitters, she was still very handy in combat and a welcome addition to any team that would have her.
Not only would adding her to the Marvel Tokon roster give her a chance to redeem herself of her her mid-tier status, but her signature ability to steal the powers of others - as well as drain them of their precious life-force - opens up countless possibilities in combat.
Given we now know how the assist system in the game works, perhaps she could function like the Shujinko Kameo in Mortal Kombat 1, with her move-set being dependent on which characters your opponent chooses. Such a system would add an even further level of depth to a game that's already looking fairly complex in terms of strategy.
