Spectrum’s skill set is one of the most unique, and if done correctly could not only be hugely entertaining but deliver devastating damage to the Black Order. With her energy beam blasts, she definitely brings something new to the table.
What the future for Spectrum is in the MCU remains unclear. Captain Marvel 1 clearly established Maria and Monica Rambeau as key characters, but the timeframe causes issues.
If Danvers’ stories stay in the ‘90s, Spectrum remains a child without her powers. However, skipping forward would mean jumping over key parts in Danvers’ friendship/maybe more than friendship with Spectrum’s mother. That’s not to mention Danvers unfinished business with Yon-Rogg.
The MCU might have tied itself in uncharacteristic knots with Spectrum, but hopefully MUA can give her some airtime.
