10. Hawkeye

Because he wasn't included in the original roster of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (only appearing in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3), some people may be convinced that Hawkeye is a brand new character. That isn't the case, but he's definitely here to stay.

Hawkeye is the best ranged character to appear in the series to date. As the bow and arrow implies, Hawkeye focuses almost completely on his ability to shoot arrows at his foes, complete with a variety of different arrows to fire. Hawkeye does have a good close-range game, but he is easily overpowered by other heroes, making his focus on ranged attacks essential for survival.

Hawkeye's brand new look isn't all he's adding to the table this time though. Gameplay footage has revealed that Hawkeye has a brand new Hyper combo, finishing an arrow barrage with an explosive arrow to the face. This makes it seem likely that other characters may also receive new attacks or Hyper Combos.
