Marvel's Avengers: 10 DLC Characters Who MUST Appear
4. Ironheart
With Robert Downey Jr. stepping away from the MCU, we likely won’t get a chance to see his comic book successor Riri Williams on the big screen.
There’s an outside chance it could be the technologically gifted Shuri, but given her limited connection to Iron Man this seems unlikely.
In truth, Riri probably wouldn’t have fit in any case. Tony Stark essentially replaced Uncle Ben in Spider-Man’s arc, and so Peter Parker became his mentor; losing Tony looks set to have a profound effect on Spidey in Homecoming. So, even though we’ve lost Riri Williams it seems like a smart move, all things considered.
Marvel’s Avengers could rectify that. Though the character only debuted in 2016, she’s already made a considerable impact. With Iron Man arguably the most popular Avenger around, having his protege in the game seems like a great idea.
Marvel’s Avengers would give her her biggest spotlight yet though, and is the perfect place to fix those flaws for the world to see.
