It doesn't take too long for Kamala to get to grips with her abilities, even if she's not quite perfected them yet. So, when it comes to issue #6, she's already kicked enough butt that she feels it's time to take down Jersey City's newest villain, The Inventor.
Now, The Inventor has been rumoured to be the main antagonist in the TV show, so it's worth getting to know him at this early stage so you're not caught out when he makes his debut on screen. This is your usual mad scientist villain, but with a big twist and a pretty horrifying one at that.
You see, The Inventor is actually a human-sized bird with the mind of one the most famous inventors in history. This unfortunately means, by the end of issue #5 you've had the shock of your life as this giant cockatiel sets his sights on our hero.
Issue #6 delves into more of this new villain's backstory as Kamala starts to figure out how fiendish his plan actually is.
Oh, and if that's not enough, she gets to team up with Wolverine and fight robot alligators... I probably should have led with that, huh?
