Mass Effect 4: 10 Most Believable Rumours You Need To Know

3. It's Next-Gen Exclusive

At some point developers need to stop supporting the last generation of consoles, even if it's going to cost them some reputation-points, as the future is not in consoles that have been doing the rounds for about a decade. Going forward it looks like Bioware are more than aware of this, as there's been barely the smallest sniff that this is going to be on anything other than PS4, Xbox One and PC. It's a good thing too, as apart from some hefty graphical wallop there's hardly been a single title where you've actually been able to say it could only be done on next-gen - even Metal Gear's Ground Zeroes looked pretty similar on old hardware, making gamers long for the next worthwhile step. Shadow of Mordor's Nemesis system apparently required a series of interconnected A.I. programs and quest-generation only possible on new systems, but if what Bioware have been mentioning in regards to crafting an entire universe comes true, it could finally be time to drop some jaws.
