If you listen real close, you can almost hear EA's executives and Bioware's top brass screaming "Just make it like the first two!" at the top of their lungs, as building on the first two major leaks from the last couple of years, it appears the Khet and Remnant races are going to make an appearance. Noted here as a "deadly indigenous race bent on stopping us", this is almost definitely the Khet; a race of warriors that were formerly described in an older leak as a "cross between the Vorcha and the Collectors", being an "insectoid-looking species, but with the Vorcha's gaping, razor-toothed mouths." Going up against a primary antagonistic force is reminiscent of the Geth from ME1, or to a lesser extent the Collectors of 2 (I always felt like the constantly-shifting machinations of The Illusive Man took precedence over their sporadically-returning threat), and it's worth pointing out that this "deadly race" could be the aforementioned Khet, or the more ancient and mysterious Remnant. First appearing in a leak from April, 2015, the Remnant are essentially to Andromeda what the Reapers were to the original trilogy. They've only been mentioned once, but the idea of an ancient threat returning to wreak havoc on the present day is something that lets Bioware flex their mystical space muscles, providing the perfect backdrop for an entire new set of games if it all goes well.
