12. The Original Pathfinder
In the Cinematic trailer, we only get a over-the-top narration from the original Pathfinder, Alec Ryder. But in the Pathfinder Team Briefing trailer, we get a proper look at him, and also a bit more info.
Alec Ryder was a key player in the human race’s early space exploration exploits, and was involved in the First Contact War with the Turians. He also received N7 status, designed the AI interface S.A.M and is of course the father of the Ryder twins.
But, due to the fact that the player will take on the role of the Pathfinder, it looks like things are going to go south for Ryder senior pretty quickly. If they do run into trouble when investigating Habitat 7, with Alec Ryder either killed or missing in action, this would naturally launch a rescue mission with the player in command as the Pathfinder.
