1. Jaal Ama Darav

Jaal takes the top spot, simply because 1. He's one of only four new races, 2. He looks like a cross between Final Fantasy X's Kimahri and a squid, and 3. This cool, calm demeanour belies a cautious, emotionally-open interior.

In quite a cool - if not slightly forced - turn, Jaal is not a strict, patience-filled warrior. Instead he'll talk to you about sewing items for the crew, or will happily open up about all manner of issues that are troubling him.

The Angara don't know how to conceal their emotions, and although you'll likely side with Jaal just because he looks great and is the only new race on your team, exploring the galaxy and receiving his comments on everything as you go is a solid bonus.
