3. The Main Antagonist Archon Is A Part Of A New Species Called The Kett

Seeing as how this will be a new galaxy, it makes perfect sense that there will be at least an additional species or two to learn about. One of the central new species' added is the Kett; the hostile beings in the Andromeda galaxy. Very little has been shared about them and their species, although Game Informer's look into how they were designed at least offers up an idea on how the character designers envisioned their personalities and demeanour:

From the design alone, they give off a "Collector mixed with Turian" vibe. The trailers have also shown that at least Archon, the leader of the Kett, speaks English, and looks to function like the DC villain Brainiac with the all-knowing, all-seeing kind of capabilities.

Since the designer mentioned that he didn't want to make them "scary" or completely unappealing, this hopefully means that they were able to provide a species that isn't too simplified and contains enough depth to be worthy of some empathy.
