12. Viewing Earth From The Moon/Luna Is No Longer Inverted

One for the geography enthusiasts, many fans noticed over time that Mass Effect's version of Earth, viewable from the moon (here called Luna) in the first game, appeared backwards - as though it was a mirror image.

You can travel to Luna as soon as the Galaxy Map opens up, but the UNC: Rogue VI mission will take you there anyway if you're chasing side content. Point being though that this persisted across multiple games, seeing footage of the Earth spin backwards in Mass Effect 2, and again in Mass Effect 3, where in the Citadel DLC a news report shows the Earth shown rotating the wrong way.

Thankfully, though all this sounds too intentional to not be an in-joke amongst the devs, all rotations of the Earth have been fixed, and it's allowed people like myself to snap the gorgeous image above.
