Mass Effect Legendary Edition - 12 Overlooked Changes Fans Will LOVE
8. The Mako’s Tweaked Physics And A BOOST
Love it or hate it - personally I always adored the Stupid Floaty Mako - Shepard's vehicle of choice in the original game was a physics-abusing law unto itself, that contextually, would've seen any crew inside killed as they tumbled down the nearest cliff edge.
Over the years though, two camps emerged: Those who got along just fine bounding around every planet, and those who literally stopped playing Mass Effect or dreaded the Mako's sections.
In the Legendary Edition, Bioware have split the difference. This revamped Mako is certainly weightier and less prone to completely flipping on its head, but also comes with the Mako from Mass Effect Andromeda's boost function, letting you speed off cliffs and get to destinations faster.
Combined with targeting that actually does damage to the direction you're pointing, it's a night and day improvement.
