Sneaking missions in Metal Gear Solid have a strict "procure on-site" restriction; this means that Snake arrives with nothing and is required to use the materials he finds, so as not to leave any trace of his presence. However, Big Boss breaks protocol and smuggles in his prized cigars for his sneaking missions.
